Vladimir Putin acknowledges problems in certain industries

Russian President Vladimir Putin has realized the impact of Western sanctions on certain industries and regions. Companies that depend on supplies from Europe are struggling, Putin said at the economic forum in Vladivostok.
After the challenges of the corona pandemic last year, there are now new difficulties, said Putin. “I mean the West’s sanctions fever, its aggressive attempts to impose a model of behaviour on other countries, stripping them of their sovereignty and subjecting them to their own will.”
The sanctions are a form of financial and technological aggression by the West in an attempt to assert its economic dominance. However, this attempt was in vain because the world was increasingly orienting itself towards Asia, said Putin. State guests from China, Mongolia and Myanmar also took part in the economic forum in Vladivostok.
