Two Olympic Champions Weightlifting Caught on Doping

Five weightlifters, including two Olympic champions, were still positive about doping when re-testing urine samples that had been taken at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
The international IWF federation has suspended all five for the time being, and the International Olympic Committee is in charge of further processing. In all cases, these concerns prohibited steroids.
The Ukrainian Oleksiy Torokhtiy won Olympic gold in the class up to 105 kilograms in London 2012. He is one of the lost weightlifters. Like the Uzbek Ruslan Nurudinov, who finished fourth in London, he won gold at the 2016 Games in Rio.
The other three weightlifters are Mikalai Novikau from Belarus, Valentin Hristov from Azerbaijan and Meline Daluzyan from Armenia.
