Top 5 Easy Ski Areas

Not everyone is looking for the very best or most challenging slopes. Going for a nice cruise on blue and (in France) green runs is merely wonderful. But they have not thought about that in every area. In not all areas it is possible to get through the entire area with simple slopes. Or, more often, the easy hills are merely boring or uninteresting forest trails where you usually have to puncture. But there are also areas where you can ski or board on the less steep slopes. A top 5 for anyone looking for beautiful ski areas.
1. Lofer
Lofer is an excellent area for winter sports enthusiasts who are not looking for too much adrenaline. From every elevator, you have lovely rolling blue runs. You can get to the top of the ski area without having to ski or board a meter of steep terrain. So that means enjoying the fantastic view, making use of all the lifts and being able to cruise through the whole area without making it too exciting. Pay attention only when you get off the Grubhorn lift. Then turn right, because on the left is a spicy black slope …
2. La Rosiere
The La Rosiere ski area, together with La Thuile, forms the Espace San Bernardo. Those looking for fun, simple hills are all right in La Rosiere. Beautiful rolling slopes from the top of the area to the village. Whoever jumps early in the morning on the pistes below the Rocher Noires lift will wonder why in the world you need steeper slopes. Perfectly groomed slopes, in the beautiful morning light. The turns are automatic. Steep enough everywhere to be able to turn around, but indeed not too steep. And if someone in your group of friends likes to ski or board very steeply, they have to make the crossing to La Thuile, because there you will find some very steep walls.
3. Savognin
Looking for nice long and very wide slopes then you are in Savognin good. Beautiful clear slopes and you come in almost the entire area with blue runs. Do you want something higher than that is gorgeous with the red hills that you find here because steep or difficult are not, and these slopes are also gentle and full? Also, the area is relatively quiet so that the hills remain useful for a long time and you will not get messed up if you take it easy. A beautiful space for Bon vivant and families!
4. Saint Francois Longchamp
This area is reasonably well known to Dutch people. Light advanced skiers and boarders can do well here. Beautiful flat slopes and playful green runs to ensure that lovers of quiet terrain can pick their hearts. Again everything is steep enough to keep gliding, you do not need to poke anywhere, but it is almost too abrupt. And those green slopes just above the village? In a word: excellent! What a carve-pistes are that say! If you look a bit on the piste map then you do not have to go over steep slopes. Saint Francois Longchamp is ideal for fans of simple hills.
5. Brandnertal
Through the association of Brandnertal with Burserberg a few years ago, a lovely area was created with beautiful and playful blue runs and not too tricky red runs. If the snow is excellent, and you are well-prepared, this is a good area also to take red runs. The only downside is perhaps the children’s meadow in the village of Brand which is really separate from the rest of the area. For families Burserberg is a better base, and Brand is ideal for adults for whom it should not be too intense. The slopes are not too steep here, but they are all adorable and playful. You really do not get bored here. Recommended.
