“iPhone 12 is longer and thinner than iPhone 11”
The new iPhone 12 would be longer and thinner than the current iPhone 11. The smallest model of the new iPhones would also be more compact.
The Japanese Macotakara reports this based on an anonymous Chinese source within the production process.
The new iPhone is only 7.4 millimetres thick, almost a millimetre thinner than the iPhone 11 of 8.3 millimetres. The edge around the screen should be roughly 2 millimetres, just like with current devices.
The Chinese source seems to confirm earlier rumours about the screen size: the three devices would have displays of 5.4, 6.1 and 6.7 inches, slightly larger than the recent iPhones. The screen would only slightly increase in height, while the width would remain about the same.
