Grammy for Record of The Year Award Won by Billie Eilish.

Billie Eilish (19) and H.E.R. won significant prizes during the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening. They won with their songs’ Everything I Wanted’ and ‘I Can’t Breath’ in two categories, the Record of the Year category and Song of the Year category, which was Surprising.
Those awards sometimes confuse because both prizes are for a song. Song of the Year is the award for songwriters, while the Record of the Year Grammy goes to the artist performing the song. This year, the awards also went to artists who wrote their songs themselves.
H.E.R. won for writing the song ‘I Can’t Breathe’, of which she is also the singer. The 23-year-old wrote the song in response to George Floyd’s death and the Black Lives Matter protests.
“I never thought that my fear and pain would become something that could potentially impact and change anything,” the singer said in her speech. “That’s the point. That’s why I write music, why I do this.”
