Facebook prohibits advertisements that promise cure coronavirus
Facebook is tightening its rules for ads that call the coronavirus. For example, advertisements that promise a cure are now prohibited.
Facebook immediately prohibits ads that promise to cure coronavirus or otherwise use it to evoke “a sense of urgency.” For example, it is about pointing out limited stocks of medicines, Facebook tells Business Insider.
In addition to healing, Facebook should also not advertise with substances that promise to reduce the risk of infection. Such measures also apply to the Facebook Marketplace.
