Balotelli at Brescia back in Serie A. Mario Balotelli will play football again in the Serie A.
The flamboyant attacker signed a multi-year contract with Brescia, which last season,
as a champion of the second Italian division, forced promotion to the highest division.
Balotelli (29) was born in Sicily but grew up near Brescia.
The son of Ghanaian immigrants played for Olympique Marseille in the past six months,
after having played in the French league for Nice for 2.5 years before that.
In the service of Marseille, Balotelli scored eight goals in twelve league matches.
The attacker now opts for a return to Serie A, in which he broke through at International.
Balotelli then played for Manchester City, AC Milan and Liverpool.
The 36-time international won three national championships with Inter and once in England with City.
Balotelli also won the Champions League in 2010 with the blue-black formation from Milan.
