Apple is Going to Repair Cracks in some Apple Watches for free
Apple is going to repair cracks in the screens of some Apple Watch models for free. The cracks appear to be caused by a production error.
These are models of the Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 3.
On the website of the tech giant, there is a list of all models that are eligible. The watches in question were sold between 2016 and 2019.
“In very rare cases, a crack may form along the rounded edge of the screen,” Apple explains. “This crack can start anywhere and continue along the entire screen edge.”
Affected customers can send their watches to Apple or return them to an Apple Store. In both cases, the Watch is sent to a special repair centre, where it is determined whether the device is eligible for the repair program.
